The workplace can be hectic and demanding. While stress is generally perceived to
be negative, and you cannot really avoid it, you can develop strategies and measures
to manage it.
If not properly managed, stress can take the joy out of your work. It can affect your
effectiveness and morale. In the longer term, stress can affect your physical and
mental well-being.
This workshop discusses some important aspects of managing stress effectively,
with the objectives of maintaining and enhancing performance.
You will learn to recognise stress-inducing factors in your workday, and you will
develop strategies to manage them. You will also examine some mindsets and
strategies to stay positive and upbeat at the workplace.
