Trainer: Noel Khng
Noel Khng has more than 20 years' experience in the HR field. He had worked for the Shell Group of companies for 18 years, where he took on roles as a generalist as HR manager for its chemicals plant, as well as specialist roles in recruitment, staff administration, employee and industrial relations, HRIS as well as learning and development.
He had worked for 2 years as the Group HR Manager for Mewah International Inc., one of the largest palm oil refiners and traders in the world, with its headquarters in Singapore and 4 refineries in Malaysia and marketing offices in China, Australia, Russi, Romania, Poland, Brazil and Argentina. Leading a team of 28 HR professionals, Noel was charged with setting the overall direction for HR policies and practices across the Mewah Group.
Noel is currently a lecturer and consultant with numerous leading institutions specialising in HR programmes. He has also developed several Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) HR-related courses for SkillsFuture Singapore. Noel's areas of expertise are in employment laws, recruitment and selection, competency frameworks, performance management, compensation and benefits, organisation development and talent management.
Noel holds a Master of Science awarded by the University of Luton, majoring in HRM and a Diploma in Industrial Relations. He has successfully completed the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).
